    If we travel during a free dining period, and qualify for a free QS plan, would we be able to pay the difference and upgrade to a deluxe meal plan?

    I love that you are already planning for your next vacation!

    If Disney does offer free dining during the course of your vacation, you should be able to upgrade to a different dining plan if you like. My family has done this and it was not an issue. However, you just need to check with Disney to make sure you can have the upgrade.

    I always encourage guests to make their vacation plans without any incentives. This way you can pick the date, flights (if needed) and location that suits your needs. Then if any incentives are offered, you simply call Disney and ask for the offer to be extended to you provided it is available.
