Transportation question: What is the best plan for having an early breakfast at Trails End and still be at MK around 9 am? We have a car and are staying at Pop Century in January. Thanks!

My first recommendation would simply be to not do it.  Way too much work, and too much lost sleep, just to go have breakfast.  Instead, I'd recommend having breakfast at Pop Century, the Magic Kingdom, or any resort on the Monorail line - anything else just doesn't seem to make sense if you want to be at the park at 9 am.

If you want to go to Trails End, why not do it for lunch?  It's a nice boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, and could make for a nice afternoon break.

Now if you prefer to ignore my advice (I won't be offended - promise!), then I think the best option is to drive to Ft. Wilderness (about 15 minute drive), and then use their internal buses to get to Trails End. You will then need to take the Ft. Wilderness bus back to the visitor parking lot, then drive to the Ticket and Transportation Center (Magic Kingdom parking lot), and then take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.  There are several other ways you could get there, but I think there's more risk using alternate routes that buses/boats may not be operating at the early hours that you will need.
