Hi Kelly! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I'm here to tell you that no matter how you get around your choice to stay at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a fantastic one! I had the opportunity to stay here during my most recent trip in May and I was blown away by how beautiful the entire Resort was. With views of the sparkling Lago Dorado (Golden Lake), a
Mayan ruins-inspired pool with a waterslide, and the rooftop relaxation spot of
Dahlia Lounge, you'll probably choose to come back to Coronado Springs for all of your future visits to
Walt Disney World Resort.
Even if you're not staying in the most recently constructed building at the Resort - Gran Destino Tower, you'll still find exceptionally comfortable, recently remodeled rooms in the Ranchos, Casitas and Cabanas sections of the Resort. With hardwood floors, flat-screen TVs, and a sleek new design, you'll definitely feel like you're staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort for a Moderate price!
The Resort itself is large but it's easy to get around from anywhere. There are four designated Disney Bus stops around the Resort, so you won't have to walk far from your Guest room to hop on
complimentary Disney Transportation. While riding a Disney Bus is the only complimentary form of transportation available to and from Coronado Springs, rideshare services and Disney's very own
Minnie Van Service can also shuttle you from point A to point B.
Once you're out and about you're welcome to use any other form of Disney transportation to get you around the rest of the more than 40 square miles of Walt Disney World Resort. If you and your party have a
Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket you can use a combination of other transportation options like the Monorail, Water Taxis, and the
Disney Skyliner to bring you to your next Theme Park. Spent the morning strolling down Main Street U.S.A. and ready to head to EPCOT? Hop on the Monorail for a quick and delightful trip and mini-tour of EPCOT. Leaving EPCOT to party with Buzz and Woody in Toy Story Land? Take in the views as your soar through the skies on the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Hollywood Studios. I have to say that sometimes getting around the Resort is just as fun as arriving at your destination.
After spending your days in the Florida sunshine enjoy the wonderfully cool, air-conditioned bus as you ride back to your soon-to-be-favorite
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Happy memory-making!
