What is the transportation between the Disney Swan Hotel and the Magic Kingdom?

Hey, Sarah, Welcome to planDisney! You'll be at Walt Disney World Resort any day now. This is a fabulous time of year to visit, so I predict a magical vacation in your future. Let's look at some options for getting you to the heart of the theme parks.

One way to get to Magic Kingdom Park from the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is to take the complimentary shuttle service. Buses are scheduled to arrive every 20 minutes or so, and the buses I rode were more like charter buses than the typical Disney Bus Service. You'll be dropped off at the Ticket & Transportation Center where you can choose to take the monorail or ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance.

The quickest way to get to Magic Kingdom Park would probably be to use a rideshare service of your choice. This isn't complimentary but would get you to the theme park more quickly. I typically use rideshare if I have a dining reservation I need to get to promptly. If you're in a polka-dot mood, schedule Minnie Van service so you can ride to Magic Kingdom Park in style.

I recently stayed at The Swan and loved its proximity to Disney's BoardWalk, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf. As a matter of fact, I have a tee time to hit the mini links next month! As you probably know, you can walk to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios or hop aboard a friendship boat to these theme parks. I may or may not have popped over to the World Showcase at EPCOT every night for dinner!

Sarah, I hope your path is lit by pixie dust on your upcoming visit because I know it will lead to a magical kingdom. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
