Hey, howdy, hey, Chris!
You’ll be having a
rootin', tootin' time at the Disneyland Resort. To make that a reality, the two things you need are 1) valid theme park admission and 2) a
theme park reservation for each day you visit. Both of these requirements are taken care of at the same time when purchasing
theme park tickets online or using the
Disneyland mobile app. Then, the Guest purchasing the ticket will automatically have both the ticket and the park reservation linked to their account. The account to which that ticket is linked can then be used to manage the ticket, including canceling and rebooking park reservations from the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page, if necessary.
Cast Members with the
Tickets phone line can usually help with transferring tickets between accounts. Before reaching out to them, you’ll want to be aware of the
terms and conditions tied to Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. Those terms include that tickets may not be sold or exchanged for goods, services, or benefits. Also, while it is possible to transfer a ticket, that can only be done if the ticket has not already been used.
That said, it is usually OK to gift an unused ticket to someone else. A while back, a member of our family was unable to join us for a trip to California. Because we didn’t want their ticket to go to waste, we passed it on to a good friend instead. Although we missed being with the missing family member, it was great to enjoy some time with our friend in the park that day.
I hope you have a great time at the Disneyland Resort too, Chris. If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your visit, I hope you’ll reach out to us at planDisney again.
See ya real soon!
