    Can I transfer a magic band to a friend?

    Welcome to planDisney, Missy! I'm so happy to see that you're busy planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for this Autumn! Thanks for sending us your question.

    MagicBands are such a convenient accessory when visiting the resort. They help us enter the theme parks, make purchases with a simple tap and give us access to our Disney hotel rooms! While a band can be used by the same person any time a valid theme park ticket is linked to their MyDisney profile, bands that have been previously used cannot be reassigned to another person.

    Before your visit, your friend may want to purchase a new MagicBand online. You can even find bands at your Disney hotel gift shop or at theme parks during your adventures! There are so many great seasonal styles to choose from!
