Hi Justin,
Welcome to planDisney!
Ok, I must admit that I am a little intrigued by the plan that brings you straight to
Disney Springs, even with your luggage. That is jumping right into the magic! Now, let's sort out how to get you (and your gear) to your relaxing
Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
You are correct that the Disney Transportation bus system cannot accommodate luggage. In this case, I think the best solution would be to use a rideshare service like a
Minnie Van from Lyft. You can request a ride easily through your phone, and your
carriage vehicle will arrive before you can say, "Bibbidy, Bobbidy, BOO!"
With this plan, keep in mind that there are two drop-off locations at Disney Springs, with one on each end. Since you will be hauling your bags around with you, make sure you know which is closer to the location of your bus so that you can reduce the amount of time that you need to carry the weight in the Florida sun. You can specifically request a pick-up or drop-off at West Side, behind
Drawn To Life Presented by Cirque Du Soleil & Disney or near
Disney's Wonderful World of Memories at the Marketplace.
If you are searching for an easier solution from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, consider reserving your space on a Mears Connect bus. They offer a convenient drop-off and pick-up experience, comfortable seats, a restroom on board, and plenty of room for your luggage. Best of all? You can arrange Express Transportation directly to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel! You can book easily directly through the Mears website.
Quick tip: if you find yourself a little road-weary and perhaps a bit too hot on your stop at Disney Springs, take a break and head over to
Wine Bar George for a Frozcato made with Dole Whip Pineapple, Moscato, and vodka. Not only is it delicious, but it's hard to find anything too seriously stressful when you are enjoying a tasty frozen beverage with a silly name!
Have any other questions, Justin? Come on back to

Adventure is out there,
