MagicBand+ makes things so much easier (and fun) when visiting the Disneyland Resort. Let's chat about how to manage your band between different accounts.
I'm thrilled to share that you can absolutely transfer the band to a different guest and their admission ticket. You'll first need to unlink the MagicBand+ from your MyDisney account by opening the
Disneyland app and tapping "☰" to open the menu. Scroll down and tap "MagicBand+" and then tap on the MagicBand+ that you'd like to unlink and transfer to your grandson. From the next screen, tap "Unlink" to complete the process.
Next, you'll link the band to your grandson's account by powering on the MagicBand+ and tapping it to the back of your grandson's phone. You'll then be directed to open the Disneyland app, where you will follow the
instructions to link the band and assign a ticket or pass to it. That's all there is to it - easy peasy!
I love using my MagicBand+ in the parks. It's so convenient to just tap my band at the entrance gates and I love how it interacts with some of the nighttime spectaculars. It's also super handy for tapping in at the Lightning Lane entrances. You can even customize how it lights up in the Disneyland app, which I of course did.
