    Tyler from WA Asked

How do I transfer a extra magic band I have to a member of my party?

    Heigh-Ho Tyler,

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. Disney MagicBands come in a variety of colors and styles and make it easy for Guests to show their Disney-side around their wrist. Once a MagicBand is assigned to a Guest it can not be reassigned/linked to another Guest. But if your Magic Band is recently purchased AND/OR has not already been linked to a Guest then, through your My Disney Experience, you can link it to a Guest. Each MagicBand comes with a unique 12-digit ID number found on the interior of the band and Guests will follow the prompts to enter this number and assign it to a Guest. For further assistance and to speak to a Cast Member call (407) 939-4357.

However, if transferring your MagicBand is not an option, Hakuna Matata. Guests have other ways to gain access to their tickets. Guests can ask for a Key to the World card at any Guest Relations/Ticket Counter or Resort Front Desk. This is a hard copy card that has all the same privileges as a MagicBand. Another option is to create and learn about the Disney MagicMobile service. Through your Apple or Google Pay Android device Guests can turn their tickets into a digital pass easily accessed on your device. But ultimately, Disney MagicBands can be purchased at many, many locations around the Walt Disney World Resort and easily and quickly linked to your Guest.

For any further Walt Disney World vacation questions feel free to ask because I am sure we have a Disney answer.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,
