I am sorry to hear that you may have to make changes to your upcoming Disney Cruise Line Vacation. It is understandable that sometimes circumstances change or events take place that can put our vacation on hold. I can empathize with what you are feeling. My family and I are currently on a vacation that had to be delayed and rebooked due to a family emergency. These times are never easy so I am glad to be here to help you.
After reviewing the Terms and Conditions for reservations booked in the United States, it appears that changes to Guest names (read as a transfer to another couple) will be considered a cancellation. In the event of a cancellation, amounts paid, minus cancellation fees and other amounts owed, will be refunded. You can review the fee schedule in the
Terms and Conditions of your Disney Cruise Line contract.
If you selected the
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Protection Plan, you may be covered for unexpected circumstances that prevent you from sailing as planned. Be sure to follow the instructions provided by your plan (if purchased) on how to apply for the benefits if needed.
I hope to see you sailing with Captain Mickey again soon! Please cruise on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions. We are always here to help! Angie
