Welcome aboard, Carol!
Are you preparing to set sail on your very first cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew? If so, I can tell you for sure that your whole family is in for magical moment after magical moment! As Platinum
Castaway Club members, my family and I have enjoyed so many amazing sailings with Disney, and are always looking forward to our next one. Disney really makes everything seamless and easy so that families can truly escape the stresses back home and relax at sea!
Part of the ease of sailing with Disney is their optional Ground Transfers. When we fly in, I love that we can head straight to the motorcoach and let Disney do the driving to the port. They handle our luggage, so we just show up and begin our vacation. You didn't mention which of their home ports you're sailing from or which ship or itinerary. Since the costs vary based on home port, I can't give you the exact ground transfer cost for your cruise, but check out the
Ground Transportation information on Disney Cruise Line's website. There you can find lots of information about the transfers in each home port. But, as an example, guests who want transfers from the Orlando International Airport (or one of the
Walt Disney World Resorts) to Port Canaveral can book those for $39 per person each way. Please keep in mind that the prices are subject to change, and vary by port, so you'll want to call the agents at Disney Cruise Line to get specifics for your sailing and add those bookings to your cruise reservation.
Have fun planning your magical adventure, Carol. Please stop back again if you have other questions about your cruise. We're happy to help!
