Hi! I'' training for a marathon and need to get a few runs in while there. We're staying at the G. Floridian. Can anyone make any recommendations??

    Hi Jessica!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Way to go on not only training for a marathon, but for making it a priority even while on vacation!

There are several different running trails around Walt Disney World Resort and the one closet to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is probably my favorite! There is a pathway that runs along Seven Seas Lagoon between Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It's approximately one mile in length, so down and back will give you a complete two miles. You'll also have a beautiful view of Cinderella Castle inside Magic Kingdom for motivation. Looking at a map of the area, starting near the Beach Pool you are going to want to follow the pathway along the shore line, past Disney's Wedding Pavilion and onto Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. From here you'll want to go around the boat docks, stay along the beach, pass by the Bora Bora Bungalows and follow the path down to the Moorea building. When you check into your Resort hotel ask the Cast Member assisting you if they have a map of the NewBalance Running Trail. If they don't have one at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa they should certainly have one at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Please come back if you have any more questions for your Walt Disney World vacation!
