Does the train in the MK drop you off in Fantasyland anymore? If so, where? Would it be faster to take the train to the new Fantasyland or walk? We will have two children under 3 with us. Thanks, panel!

    Hi Karen!

The Walt Disney World Railroad offers guests a scenic trip around the Magic Kingdom Resort, with stops at Frontierland, Fantasyland and Main Street, U.S.A.  It usually takes around 20 minutes for the trains to come full circle at MK, and its a fantastic leisurely ride.

The Fantasyland Stop is located between The Great Goofini (Barnstormer) and Storybook Circus.  Eventually, once the Seven Dwarfs MIne Train is completed, guests will be able to walk to Be Our Guest and Under The Sea--Journey of The Little Mermaid, without having to walk around the construction walls.   For now, your best bet is still the Fantasyland station, as it remains the closest in proximity to Fantasyland.  Keep in mind that rental strollers are not permitted on the Walt Disney World Railroad, so take that into account when planning.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
