    Does Trader Sam's Grog Grotto have kids food? We are coming back in January and I would love to try it out, but I know my 8 & 5 yr old will not like any of the apps served there?

    Hi, Kathleen!  This is so much fun, I am recommending it to everyone I know.  This, of course, means that the next time I am trying to get in, it will be packed.  Good thing I hate keeping fun Walt Disney World things to myself!

    This is basically a cocktail bar, so there isn't a full menu available.  It really is just appetizers, and they are mostly Polynesian inspired.  You can ask for some of the food items to be adapted so they are more kid friendly.  The corn battered Portuguese sausages can be served with plain ketchup (and they are very similar to a corn dog).  You can also ask for the pork tacos to be served without the cabbage and pickles.  

    While this is a cool place for everyone to see, at 8 PM, this becomes an adults only (over 21) location.  Stop in early before dinner and enjoy one of the delicious drinks with your appetizers.
