    How can I trade my smart bands for slap bands? We are going to Disney Jan. 20th

    Hi there, Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip is just a few short weeks away, and I know that you must be so excited! 

    I don't like to carry much into the parks if I can help it. When I am not traveling with little ones, I have even been known to venture into the parks without a single bag. The only thing that makes this possible is the MagicBand. This RFID-enabled bracelet not only functions as my room key and park ticket but also allows me to capture some hilarious ride photographs and purchase everything that I need with a tap of the wrist.     

    Jessica, while all MagicBand sales are final and can not be returned or exchanged, you may still purchase additional specialty MagicBands (including the new slap-bracelet-style MagicBands) and link them to your My Disney Experience account. These new MagicBands will work interchangeably with ones previously linked to your account. In order to link a new Magic Band, simply select "My MagicBands and Cards" in the My Disney Experience Menu and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see an option to "Link." While it is recommended to have 10 or fewer MagicBands and Cards linked to a single account, I have been known to change them throughout the week to coordinate with my outfit or plans.
