One of the great perks of using a MagicBand or
MagicBand+ while staying at a Disney Resort hotel is charging food and merchandise purchases to the payment method linked to your Disney Resort hotel room. When you check in to your Resort, you’ll create a 4-digit PIN to use when making purchases with your MagicBand.
There are a few ways to track the purchases you make with your MagicBand. First, you can hold on to the receipts you are given when you complete a purchase and tally them at your convenience. Another option is to stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel and ask for a printed copy of your Resort folio. This will show any charges made to your room and you can make a payment at that time. Or you can look at your current room charges in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. To find this, click on the three horizontal bars in the bottom right of your screen, then find the tile labeled “Resort Hotel.” Here you’ll see the option to “View Charges.” You’ll also receive a final itemized receipt of your room charges via email after you check out.
For Disney Resort hotel reservations longer than five days, the
payment method on file will be charged the current balance every fifth day and after checkout. If you’d like to use a Disney gift card to pay your room balance, you will need to stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel.
