Welcome aboard, Steve. Your daughter is in for a wonderful, magical, dreamy and fantastic cruise experience when she sets sail with
Disney Cruise Line! No matter which of their four pixie-dusted
ships she'll be enjoying, there is truly
something for everyone onboard. My family and I love sailing with Disney!
Disney does not offer an official ship tracker for those that are not onboard the ship that I know of. Onboard, she'll be able to view their current location, however if you're hoping to view it from home, you won't be able to see that Disney screen that she'll have onboard. I have done web searches for "Disney cruise tracking" and some independent sights are available that show where each of the ships is located at that point of the day, so you may do a quick search for that. Your daughter will also receive a cruise packet in the mail before she sets sail. In the back of that will be tear-off cards for her to leave with family and friends that include the emergency number onboard should you need to reach her. Just be aware that rates for that call will be high, so it's really only for emergencies. You can also ask her for a copy of her itinerary page from that packet as well as the ship name and stateroom. It will tell which port they'll be docking in each day, so you can have that information too.
I hope those details help, Steve. Perhaps next time you'll get to join her on one of Disney's ships to experience all of the magic of sailing with Captain Mickey and his crew!
