How does the Toy Story Bus work? Does it only go from the parking lot to Disneyland? Are there stops along the way? Thank you in advance!

    Hey there, Taylor!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question. How exciting that you'll be celebrating the New Year with a visit to the Disneyland Resort! That's a fantastic time to go because the crowds from New Year's Eve will have left and you might even have a chance to catch the end of the Holiday decorations!

The Toy Story Parking Area bus is a complimentary transportation service provided by Disney to bring Guests to and from the Toy Story Parking Area to the Main Entrance Esplanade of both Theme Parks. The buses typically run every 15 minutes or so and is a direct line, so there are no other stops along the route. The Toy Story Parking Area is located south of the Disneyland Resort along South Harbor Blvd. and is about a 20 minute walk to the Esplanade if you choose to go by foot. I find the bus to be a really convenient and quick way to get to the Theme Parks, especially during times when it drops you off inside the security checkpoint.

Once you have your Theme Park Tickets, don't forget to mark your calendar at 60 days before arrival so you can make those all important dining reservations. Personally, I can never pass up an open table at Lamplight Lounge! If you need more help with planning your trip, we at planDisney stand ready to assist!

Taylor, I hope that was helpful for you. I wish you a truly magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in the New Year! We'd love to hear from you again, so don't be a stranger! Happy planning!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
