Are tours for Key to the kingdom done in December?

    Hi Tina,

Welcome to planDisney. I'd be more than happy to help!

Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is one of my all-time favorite experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. I reserved this Enchanting Extra for my first solo visit last year and it was an incredible way to explore Magic Kingdom Park. During this 5-hour walking tour, you'll be escorted down Main Street, U.S.A. and through select areas of the park where you'll discover new details and appreciate the magic in a truly meaningful way. I won't spoil your experience with too many specifics, but my favorite stop was a visit to the Utilidor tunnels below Magic Kingdom Park. There was much to see and some treasured secrets told which I hold close to my heart to this day!

As part of the Enchanting Extras Collection, this experience is typically available to reserve 60 days in advance, which puts the booking calendar toward the end of August at this time. I reached out to a Cast Member just to double-check if guests should anticipate any seasonal closures, so you can plan accordingly for your December visit. While offerings and experiences are always subject to change, they shared that Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is expected to continue its daily schedule, with time slots currently available at 8 a.m., 8:30 a.m., and 9:30 a.m.  I'd keep your eye on the calendar for additional dates to open as your visit approaches.

Tina, I am crossing my fingers that you'll get to experience this magical tour for yourself during your visit. I'll admit my eyes teared up on a few occasions, and I couldn't wait to share some of the fun facts I learned with my family once the tour was complete. My son is eager to experience it for himself but since this offering is only available for guests over the age of 16, we still have a few more years to go. I look forward to enjoying the tour again alongside him as soon as he's old enough.

Feel free to stop back and see us again with more planning questions. We're always glad to assist!

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Amy
