Ahoy Lou!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hear that you will be cruising with your Disney pals for the
very first time next year. I cannot wait for you to experience all of the
magic included when you sail with Captain Mickey!
Disney Cruise Line offers a large variety of
Port Adventures at each port of call they visit. That being said, sometimes the most popular adventures can fill up quickly. I would recommend that you continue to check back until you set sail to see if reservations become available. As you get closer to your sail date, other guests may change their plans and release reservations. If you are still unable to book the Port Adventure you want, visit the
Port Adventures Desk once you get on the ship to discuss any availability or alternative adventures.
In most ports of call, there are independent tour operators that offer additional options to explore the port. A quick internet search will bring up options for you to book outside of Disney Cruise Line. In many ports, there are also tour guides available as you step off the ship.
I do always recommend you book your Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line when possible. Not only has Disney Cruise Line reviewed all the Port Adventures for safety, but you are also covered if the ship's itinerary changes or if your adventure returns late after the ship's all aboard time. That peace of mind is so valuable to me when I'm traveling with my family!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
