    I am torn between two great moderate resorts for me, my mom, and my girlfriend to stay in for a week. The Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside or Coronado Springs? Which is nicer? Which is more magical? Which is more popular? Help please!

    How exciting that you will be visiting the "Happiest Place on Earth" with your mom and girlfriend, Carter! Although I love both Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort, you made my job much easier by asking which Resort was more magical.  I would definitely have to say that I personally find the Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside Resort to be more magical due to the storybook theming and the attention to detail that is captured in each guest room. I got a firsthand look at these beautiful new guest rooms in April and can see why they have been so popular with guests since they opened this Spring! When staying at Port Orleans Riverside Resort, you will also be able to travel to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River Cruise. With that being said, I noticed you are from Louisiana and wanted you to be aware that this Resort is themed after Rural Louisiana. If you prefer something completely different, you cannot go wrong with Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I have stayed at this Southwest-themed Resort myself on many occasions both with and without children. Coronado Springs Resort does have a convention center on property so you may find more adults sans kids at this resort location. I would recommend visiting the unofficial website allears.net to view the extensive photo galleries for both resort locations. I hope this helps in making your decision!  I honestly don't think you can go wrong either way.
