Ciao, Cynthia! We're so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question today!
We dined at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera during our trip in February, and it now tops my family's list for Walt Disney World character meals!
Topolino is actually Mickey Mouse's nickname in Italy, and he is the star of the show here in his paint-splattered apron. However, he is joined by his cute pals, Poet Minnie, Sculptor Donald, and Ballet Dancer Daisy. Topolino's is a signature table-service restaurant, and the atmosphere of this rooftop eatery is definitely more sophisticated than other character meals on property. While dressier attire is suggested for dinner, I noticed that the dress code was more relaxed for breakfast; I think this is referred to as "Resort Casual." I saw many guests in their theme park clothing (my kiddos wore sweatshirts and shorts and I had on jeans), but not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, baseball hats, and cut-offs. I actually saw an adult guest dressed just like Artist Mickey, beret and all, and he brought his sketch pad with him...Mickey was so touched! We often pack a change of clothes in a drawstring bag if we are planning to head to the parks or the pool without stopping back at our room after dining. The Walt Disney World Resort pool areas all have bathrooms with changing areas that remain open during this time.
If I may offer a couple of suggestions, the Quiche Gruyère and the Sour Cream Waffles are divine! Just try not to fill up on the complimentary homemade croissants and pastries before your entrees arrive! Instead of visiting each table individually, Mickey & Friends parade around the restaurant, and although they can't currently give hugs, they do encourage taking socially distant selfies. Also, in place of autograph books, the characters now hand out commemorative autograph cards, which are a great souven-EAR! For the most up to date information, check out the

Buon appetito, Cynthia!
