The topic of bubbles on the Disney ships has come up on the message boards today. Some are saying bubbles are sold on board now. Are bubbles now allowed on the ships?

    Ahoy, Amy!

Thank you for navigating your way over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so glad you are hEAR! You must be looking forward to sailing with Captain Mickey and the rest of his seafaring crew real soon. They can't wait to welcome you aboard for a vacation filled with pixie dust!

As soon as I read your question, I made my way over to the Disney Cruise Line Prohibited Item List to see if I could find bubbles on it. When I didn't see it, I reached out to Disney Cruise Line to find out the scoop and was told that Guests may bring a container of bubbles onboard. The representative I spoke with was not able to verify that they are sold in the merchandise shops at this time. It's been about three months since my last sailing so they very well could have been added recently. Like any liquids brought onboard, bubbles should be packed in carry-on luggage just to be safe since checked luggage has a longer route to make it to your stateroom.

Amy, we are so glad you reached out with your question. As you continue to plan for your magical voyage, we hope you'll keep us in mind.

    Have a wonderful day!
