What are the top restaurants? My husband and I and our kids ages 4(girl), 7 and 8 (boys) are going to WDW in June. Top priorities are in this order: Great food, budget friendly, character dining. Thanks so much for the help!

    Hi Christy!

One of the best budget tips I can give you is that breakfast, lunch and dinner almost always have different prices for often very similar meals. Breakfast is almost always the least expensive and dinner the most experience. If you can plan to have your largest meals at lunch time, it will be a bit more budget friendly. Also, many meals at quick service restaurants are big enough to feed two people. Splitting meals can help with the budge as well.

Here are a few of our family's favorites Dining locations in each park.

Magic Kingdom: A great place to check out for breakfast is the Crystal Palace. Here you can dine with Pooh and his friends. The Be Our Guest restaurant is brand new and a must see for little princesses. Dining inside the Beast's castle is a super fun experience.

Animal Kingdom: For a awesome meal, you can't go wrong with Yak & Yeti. Our family loves both the table service and quick service versions of this restaurant.

Epcot: For food, this is the park for EATING! The World Showcase countries all have excellent restaurants. My son's favorite is Teppan Edo in Japan. For one of the best steaks in the parks, Le Cellier is top notch (definitely not budget friendly though). If you're looking to save money, a fun way to enjoy a meal may be to find unique snacks around the world. Rather than planning a big meal, try the fish and chips in the UK! They are wonderful! For a treat, the caramel shop in Germany, Karamel Kuche, is the best!

Hollywood Studios: The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is our family's favorite at this park, while it isn't character dining, the ambiance really makes this a must-do.

    Hope this helps!
