    Is Toontown the only 'land' that opens later in the Magic Kingdom? We are thinking to rush off to Big Thunder Mountain at the rope drop...but want to make sure that is an option

    Yes, Toontown is the only major area of the Magic Kingdom that frequently opens a bit later than the rest of the park. There are some individual attractions scattered throughout the park that may open later too, but Big Thunder Mountain is not one of them. You can expect that Big Thunder will be open at rope drop time -- that's often my family's first stop in the park as well.
