Hi there, Jennifer! I hear you're dying to have fun during your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort! October is a
fang-tastic time to visit as temperatures gradually start falling along with the leaves, and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is frightfully fun!
If you love to hate the Disney Villains, then
Cruella's Halloween Hide-a-Way at
Tony's Town Square Restaurant may be the event for you (separate admission to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is required). My friend,
Samantha, attended this year, and she gave me all the details from her
spooktacular experience. This year's event offered exclusive Town Square viewing of the second Boo-To-You Parade at 11:15 PM, featuring some of Cruella's villainous pals. If seeing the parade from a great spot is a priority, then you'll appreciate this perfect head-on view of Cinderella Castle from Main Street, U.S.A. Make sure to go outside a few minutes early to catch the Headless Horseman start off the parade with his terrifying ride!
This year, guests were allowed to come and go at their leisure from 9:00 PM-12:30 AM. The cost included cheeses and light bites, and there was also a spot set up for hot food, such as flatbread pizza and Butternut Squash Ravioli; everything was served buffet style, so guests could eat on their own schedule. In a separate room, there was a bar area with sodas, beers, and wines and a dessert table (save that trick or treat candy for later!). Cruella also lurked around and mingled during the evening for autographs and selfies.
It hasn't been confirmed as to if they will have this event again next year, but my guess is they will. Start looking for information this coming summer on the
Disney Parks Blog, or call (407)939-3463.
Bone Appetit, Jennifer! I hope you have an
eek-tastic Halloween with Mickey and his pals!
