    We got a ton of Disney gift cards for Christmas. Can you use gift cards to pay for your vacation package, and is there a limit to how many gift cards you can apply?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   I am so happy to hear you are planning another vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.  I always think that planning a vacation is half the fun.  I hope you have a wonderful trip.

    Disney Gift Cards are the perfect gift for Disney fans.   I will often purchase a Disney Gift Card each time I do my grocery shopping and save them up for when we vacation.  I call it my 'Disney Savings Plan'.   Sarah, there is no limit to the number of Disney Gift Cards you may put toward your vacation package purchase.   I recommend you register and combine some of your Disney Gift Cards before you make your purchase.   By registering you will have the piece of mind that if a card should ever go missing you can transfer the balance onto another card.  Keep in mind the maximum balance you can have on a Disney Gift Card is currently $1,000.   This could change at anytime but this is the current policy.   You may need to combine your cards into more than one if you are planning on using more than $1,000 in Disney Gift Cards to pay for your trip.  

    You will probably need to call (407) 939-1936 to pay using multiple Gift Cards. Sarah, I encourage you to check out the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on the Walt Disney World website.  This page displays the current discounts and offers available to Guests planning on visiting Walt Disney World.  I always check here before I book a vacation.
