Tomorrow for Disney night can I bring my saber in before Star Wars nite or do I have to check it into guest services

Greetings, Sarah, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for coming to us with your question. It sounds like you're about to have a fun-filled evening at the Disneyland Resort that takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away! Congratulations on getting tickets to Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite and I'm really excited for you!

I'm happy to report that you should be able to bring your lightsaber into Disneyland Park with you as an accessory to your costume. As long as you are in compliance with the Dress Code and do not bring any prohibited items through security, you should be fine. The final decision will be at the discretion of the security Cast Member, of course.

In fact, there's even a lightsaber event during the party at the Millennium Falcon for a Resistance Show of Unity (check out all the lightsabers in the first picture!). That's going to make for a fantastic photo!

Sarah, I hope this answer helped to put you at ease and I wish you an out-of-this-galaxy good time at Star Wars Nite! Please let us know if you need anything else because we'd love to hear from you again!

May the Force Be With You,

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
