Hiya fellow Floridian Justin!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a pertinent question. I love being a
Florida resident. The weather is fantastic, there are so many fun destinations, and most importantly we are close to the Mouse! Unfortunately, while you can share your love of all things "Disney," unless your family can show
proof of Florida residency, you are unable to share your discount!
If your family are
Florida residents, all of you need to be present and show proof of residency when you activate your
tickets. Only adults over the age of 18 need evidence, so if you have minor family members that you've purchased
tickets for, you are good to go. Proof for the rest of the family can come in a variety of forms, including:
-State or military-issued ID card with Florida address.
-Bills, Policies or Registration in their name (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy or statement from utilities, insurance, etc. note that the statements can be no more than two months old).
-Mail from a certified institution such as a bank, federal, or state agency with their name.
Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable.
You can
modify the tickets you've purchased online or via the
My Disney Experience app. You can do this up until the ticket start date, and if you'd prefer, you can call the Disney Reservation Center. You will be responsible for the difference in price. If you need to change the tickets after, visit any
Guest Relations or
ticket window on property.
Justin, I hope this was clEAR. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Rayna
