We were told first week of December is a great time to come. We booked December 4-11, 2013. The free dining offer startes the 12th, but our week is a black out week. Does this mean it is going to be packed down their?!

No, that should not be a crowded time. The reason why you may not see them offering the free dining package at that time is that they may have reached their own threshold for room bookings. So by that I mean that while it won't be packed, they probably have enough reservations that they don't think they need to add the promo then to build up crowds even more.

At that time of year I find that Walt Disney World has light to moderate crowds. It is most definitely not packed. I would say it is like a 2 on a 5-point scale. There are slightly lighter crowd times of they year, but not many. The only event I can think of at that time is the Pop Warner Football event, and while it does bring in a large number of families, it does not move the needle to crowded.

BOTTOM LINE: No, if past experience bears out, it should not be packed at all!

    Have a magical vacation!
