I was told by a cast member on the app that you need a park hopper to do the Holiday time at Disneyland Resort tour - but someone else asked a cast member on the app and was told no you don’t. I am very confused. Help !

Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca! My favorite character, Winnie the Pooh, once said, "Christmas is a togethery sort of holiday." I'm so happy to hear you are planning some together time with loved ones at Disneyland Resort soon!

Disneyland is the Merriest Place on Earth, and you will love your walking history lesson during the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour. During the 2½-hour tour, you'll learn about holiday decor and customs, receive priority boarding on "it's a small world" Holiday, and get reserved seating for A Christmas Fantasy Parade. I spoke with a Disneyland Cast Member today, and she confirmed that you'll only be visiting Disneyland Park, so the Park Hopper option is not needed to participate. However, park reservations and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required (for each Guest ages 3 and older) and are not included in the price of this experience. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to check in at the Tour Gardens on Main Street, U.S.A.

Portions of the tour are refreshed each year. Typically, guests receive dessert samples and hot chocolate, but I'm confident that in 2022 there will be some new surprises. One of my favorite history lessons is the Disneyland Candy Cane tradition!

Rebecca, the planDisney Panel wishes you and yours a very Merry Holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
