Ahoy, Stacie!

While there is no official Disney Cruise Line site where you can meet up with other cruisers on the same cruise as you, there are a couple of places you can look to find fellow voyagers! We have met some great people prior to our cruises, and even linked up our dining reservations with a few of them. I also met one of my very best friends through a DCL group.

If you are on Facebook, you can do a search that includes your Disney Ship's name and cruise date. This will most likely bring up a group that has been formed for your cruise. If there is not a group, you can start a group, and then lost passengers like yourself will hopefully navigate their way to the group. On these pages, you can talk to fellow cruisers, start a Fish Extender group, or plan a group meet-up on the ship.

On another website called the DIS boards, there are cruises listed so that you can meet up. If you have never visited the DIS, you will have to register in order to search for anything. Once you are registered, there are discussion boards for everything Disney, including Disney Cruise Line. You will want to go to the DCL forum page, then look under "Disney Cruise Meets" to find your cruise date and ship. I learned quite a bit by visiting this site.

Our family has had very good luck with both of these websites. We have met fellow cruisers and organized private bar events with them, ate our meals with them, and attended a large group meet-up. Some groups are very active, while others simply want to connect with a few fellow passengers.
