Welcome back, Sarah! When your family arrives at Castaway Cay, there are so many exciting events and activities as well as play areas that you can explore!
Scuttle's Cove is for children between the ages of three and 12, and the playtime there is secured so parents are only allowed to come in to pick up their children. But, don't worry! Even though your little one won't be at Scuttle's Cove, there are some other spots on the island that will be so much fun for you to enjoy together.
Be sure to visit Spring-a-Leak. This fun splashpad area has kids giggling and splashing and entertained for a long time! My kids really enjoy spending some time there, even now at 6 and 8, but mostly you'll find that it's a great spot for toddlers and their parents. Also, take a look at your Personal Navigator on Castaway Cay Day. That schedule of the day's events and activities will list when the Family Whale Dig will take place. Monstro's Point is a fun whale dig where little archeologists can excavate a large whale skeleton. There are set times for the kids in Scuttle's Cove to do this, but also set times when families can have fun at Monstro's Point together. Your little one may love running around with a paintbrush to unearth the whale bones! To see more about these spots, check out the
Castaway Cay page on Disney Cruise Line's website, and click on the "Places To Explore" tab.
Your Personal Navigator will also list the crab race times and character dance party times. Those are both fun activities that toddlers love to enjoy, so take a look! I hope those ideas give you a starting point for fun at Castaway Cay! Of course the beach and waves are just as fun, and Castaway Cay is the best beach around, in my opinion! Have fun planning, Sarah!
