Ahoy, Kimberley!
It is SO wonderful to hEAR from you again! Can you believe you'll be embarking on an amazing weeklong adventure aboard the Disney Fantasy in January? My crew's last sailing included the
Star Wars Day at Sea, so I know you're in for an epic vacation to start off 2018! I couldn't believe how immersive this experience was including the unique Character meet-n-greets and the Stars Wars Summon the Force Deck Celebration! Being able to watch a firework spectacular set to the legendary Star Wars music in the middle of the ocean was out-of-this-world, and I still get chills thinking about it! I highly recommend arriving around 25 to 30 minutes early to patrol the deck for the perfect viewing spot. We stood along the railing on Deck 12 looking over onto the Deck Stage on the portside of the ship so we could see the show on the stage before the fireworks started.
Kimberley, your sailing will also have a
Pirate Night so add pirate costumes to your packing list! On the 2017 sailings, Pirate Night included the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks so my hope is this will be the case for 2018 as well. I could watch fireworks at sea every night so this was a real treat on our voyage this past April. I did notice two differences on our Pirate Night-no pirate menu in the main dining rooms and no pirate buffet. We did get to enjoy a flavorful Star Wars themed menu and buffet on the Star Wars Day at Sea. The menu selections were some of my favorites for the entire week especially the "Desserts from Cloud City." I indulged in both the Calrissian Velvet Cake and Han Solo's Frozen Carbonite Sundae! So delicious!
It was such a pleasure assisting you again, Kimberley! Please let us know if we can help you further with your galactic plans!
