Hello, David! Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you plan your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm sorry you're having trouble booking your advanced dining reservations, so let's brainstorm some steps to try. Since eating is one of my favorite pastimes, I understand your frustration!
Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can book dining at the
60-day mark for the length of their stay (up to ten days). Make sure your resort reservation is linked correctly in your My Disney Experience. If your reservation isn't connected, that 10-day window won't open.
I recently tried booking Starlight Safari on my
mobile app one morning, and I had the same problem. It turns out I wasn't logged in on my phone, so the system had no way of knowing I was a hotel guest. Please don't tell my panelist pals about that; I'll have to turn in my planDisney card! But learn from my mistakes, David, and be sure you're logged in on your device.
If you still don't see that 10-day window open, feel free to call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to ensure your room and theme park tickets are linked correctly. You can also contact the
dining line if you need help.
Once you can see options for your entire visit, my tip is to look for hard-to-get experiences, such as
character dining, for later in your visit. You'll have more options the further out you can look.
Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park is one of my family's favorites. When you check in, request a table by the window. If one is available, you'll be treated to a fabulous view of Fantasyland!
David, I'm wishing on a star that you'll book some magical meals during your holiday visit.
planDisney is always here to help!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
