We have tix/reservations at Disney for Dec. 28 & 29. When can I make dining reservations?

Hi there, Paula! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and asking an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

It sounds like you will be traveling during a very magical season! The holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are a very merry time to visit! There are so many beautiful decorations across the property and many different enchanting, seasonal offerings available as well. My personal favorite has got to be the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays! This event invites Guests to celebrate holiday traditions from across the globe through storytelling, live entertainment, and delicious eats. It’s certainly not an event you want to miss!

As silly as it may sound, dining at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my family’s favorite pastimes! We love sampling new dishes and enjoying our classic favorites throughout our stays. One of the best ways to plan ahead, it to make advanced dining reservations. Reservations are available at the majority of table service dining locations and actually reserve your table for a specific time and date. Guests may begin making their advanced dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. If you are staying with the Disney Resorts Collection, you will actually be able to make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your arrival for the entirety of your trip.

If you would like to experience a particularly popular dining location, I would recommend making your reservations as soon as possible! Some dining locations fill up very quickly so I tend to make these reservations as soon as they come available. Reservation availability opens up at approximately 5:45 am Eastern Standard Time so be sure to mark your calendars and set your alarms!

I hope this information assists you in planning your holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to reach back out if we can assist with planning any other portions of your stay!
