Do you have any tips for making our vacation extra special? This will be my family's first visit.

Congratulations on your first vacation to Walt Disney World!

First, make sure to pick up your complimentary "1st Visit" pin from Guest Services when you arrive. This will announce to everyone that you are celebrating your visit visit to the most magical place on earth.

There are so many things to see and do, I recommend that you make a Top Five "Must See" list with each of your family members as it will be impossible to see and do everything. You can at least make sure you do the "top" favs.

I think for first time visitors, the absolute top "Must Do" things to see and do to make your trip extra special are:

    1. Have at least one character dining experience (My favorite is Cinderella Royal Table because you can dine in Cinderella Castle)

    2. Plan at least one entire day at Magic Kingdom and explore the new Fantasyland, including the brand new Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel's Grotto, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Dumbo, The Barnstormer and more! You also won't want to miss the classics, such as It's a Small World, PhilHarMagic and Cinderella's Carousel.

    3. Make sure to experience the nightly attractions, shows and fireworks that Disney has to offer. Wishes at Magic Kingdom is my favorite! You can watch the fireworks burst over Cinderella Castle and watch Tinkerbell fly down from overhead. My favorite place to watch is at California Grill which is on top of The Contemporary

    4. Eat your way around the World Showcase at Epcot! Get a little something from each of the Quick Service restaurants to experience the flavors, music and ambiance of each of the countries.

    5. Relax at your resort! Enjoy all that your resort has to offer by spending a day by the pool, dining at the local restaurant and playing in the arcade.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
