Tips for doing our first ever Disney experience on a budget. We are tying to keep it under 4K for 7 days.

    Hi Travis!

The great thing about Walt Disney World is that you can travel there on any budget level!

I have a few great tips for traveling on a budget.

Consider staying at one of Walt Disney World's value resorts. I personally love All Star Movies Resort because the theming is amazing, the Fantasia pool is great and there are tons of fun activities, like an arcade and movies under the stars. Staying on site can save money because you will have complimentary transportation to and from the parks and free parking if you choose to drive.

The time of year can make a difference in the rates as well. Typically September, early October, the first two weeks of November and January offer value season rates. Another option is to visit during the free dining promotion, which is typically offered each year. The dates have not been released for this year, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement of dates. The Disney Dining Plan offers tremendous value, even if it's not part of the free promotion. Purchasing it as part of your package can save you a lot of money.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
