Ahoy, Carey!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on becoming a party of five in 2017! I know you are very excited to welcome the newest member of your family.
I'm happy to share my experience with
cruising while pregnant and hope you will feel similar when you sail with Disney Cruise Line with your crew. Like you, I do not have any issues with motion sickness even when the seas are a bit more rocky than calm. But, I was worried when I cruised pregnant even though I did not have any morning sickness. I decided to purchase Sea-Bands since they are a drug-free option, but did not have to use them because the motion did not bother me at all. It definitely gave me peace of mind just in case.
I'm not sure where your stateroom is located, but we made sure ours was midship on a lower deck because that is typically a good spot for Guests who don't want to feel the motion of the ship. And my other tip would be to watch what you eat because you don't want to eat something that would upset your stomach. I know I'm usually a bit more open with my choices when I sail and did hold back when I was pregnant to err on the side of caution.
Carey, best wishes for smooth sailing both with your cruise and the rest of your pregnancy! Please let us know if we can assist you further with your plans.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
