Hi Moms! Another tipping question. How much is an appropriate tip for port adventure guides? Booked Sea Trek Helmet Dive and Coral World Semi-submarine. When should the tip be given? Should we bring American dollars? Thanks again.

Welcome back, Linda! I have had family members who experienced that amazing Sea Trek Helmet Dive and still rave about what a fantastic experience it was, so you are really in for a treat!

Tipping is at your own discretion, so it varies widely from guest to guest. You should never feel you're expected to tip your Port Adventure guides, however it is customary to do so for great service. Guests sometimes tip a percentage of the cost of their adventure, say 10 or 15 percent. Other guests will tip between $5 and $20 for a couple, more for a family, based on the length of their adventure. It's up to you and of course the service you receive from your guides. Normally, we tip our guide at the end of the adventure and do so with American dollars, which are always happily accepted by them. We've always found that the guides are very friendly, knowledgeable and informative, and I hope you'll find the same on your exciting Port Adventures with Disney, Linda.

Have fun planning! Stop back with any other questions before you set sail!
