Hi, Jaynee! Welcome back and thanks for bringing another great question to us. I am a huge fan of the
Disney Dining Plan for the convenience it provides. I do not have to worry about cooking for my family during our vacations, as there are so many great choices among the Walt Disney World Resort dining locations. Our favorite dinner spot has to be Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! The fried chicken and barbecue ribs are outstanding, but the show is the real star of this meal. The last time we went, my husband ending up being "that guy" that caught the brunt of all the gags and jokes. Our daughters and I couldn't even finish our strawberry shortcake because we were laughing so hard!
When dining at
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, you are more than welcome to use your Disney Dining Plan. This dinner show does require two Table Service credits and can be used for Category 2 or Category 3 seating at all available shows or Category 1 seating at the 8:30 p.m. show. Gratuity will be included, whether you pay out of pocket or with Disney Dining Plan credits.
The Disney Dining Plan can also be used at restaurant side of the
House Of Blues Restaurant & Bar. However, I did call the restaurant directly today and was able to confirm that the plan cannot be used for the Sunday Gospel Brunch at this time. The Cast Member I spoke with said there was a short time last year that it was allowed, so be sure to check when purchasing your tickets to the brunch to see if this does change again.
Thanks again for stopping by, Jaynee. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical vacation!
