How many times a day do Playhouse Disney and Beauty and the Beast play at Hollywood Studios? Do these shows also run in the evenings? And about how long does it take to travel from the Grand Floridian to the Studios?

    Hi Jean,

The times and number of performances for most Hollywood Studios are subject to change depending on the park hours and the time of the season. Often during peak travel times the park will alter the schedule to try and add additional shows. In scanning all the park calendar schedules I have collected over our trips, I can tell you that on average there are 5 Beauty and the Beast performances and around 10 Playhouse Disney shows. Playhouse Disney often runs a show at least once an hour beginning close to park opening, where Beauty and the Beast's first performance is typically an hour or so after park opening with longer breaks in between performances. Both shows do not usually offer evening performances, and typically have their last show around 6pm. Scheduled performances are listed on the park hour schedule available at the parks and resorts.

When planning on your trip from Grand Floridian to Hollywood Studios, the trip usually takes around 30 minutes. However the Grand Floridian often shares Disney buses with other Magic Kingdom resorts, so travel time will depend on what stop your resort is and any delays in loading other guests.

    Hope this helps!
