At the time we take our two boys to DW for the first time, they will be (just about) 7 years old and 8 years old. Is Magic Kingdom more geared towards girls, or do boys enjoy it too? We were never there and don't know how to plan our park adventures.

    Hi Jena,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on planning your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Magic Kingdom Park has plenty of exciting attractions for boys and girls of all ages. My two sons love the Magic Kingdom. Some of their favorite attractions and lands are Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland and the Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square. Our oldest son enjoys thrill rides and loves riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain, both located in Frontierland. With the recent expansion of New Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom Park has more to offer than ever before. Each of the six lands of the Magic Kingdom has a variety of attractions every member in your family can enjoy.

Please be sure to send me any follow-up questions you may have about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort as your vacation approaches. Helping others plan their first visit is a personal favorite of mine.

    Have a magical day,
