What time should I try to make my afternoon dinner reservation at Chef Mickey’s for if I want to make it back to magic kingdom on time to watch the fireworks show? We we going in September so I assume the show will be at 8??

    Hi Mariah!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in September!

I like to plan my dining reservations around "must do" experiences such as parades and nighttime spectaculars as well. Happily Ever After is at the top of that list! The popular fireworks display is offered at various times throughout the year. Last September, times ranged from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. At this time, the park hours are unavailable for the month of September, so be sure to check the Park Hours page over the next few weeks. Chef Mickey's is such a fun way to meet the "Fab 5" while enjoying a delicious meal! I would allow approximately 60 - 90 minutes for your entire dining experience. I recommend booking your dining reservation around 5:00 p.m. to give yourself ample time.

Of note, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park in September. Dates for this special event are currently available. If you're planning to attend Magic Kingdom Park on a day the party is not offered in order to view Happily Ever After, be sure to check out the dates so you can plan accordingly.

I hope this is helpful, Mariah. Best wishes for a magical trip!
