Welcome, Sandy,
It’s great to hear from you here at planDisney. The
Toy Story Parking Area is my favorite place for
Disneyland Resort theme park parking. I love how the frequent buses between the lot and the theme parks usually mean we don’t need to wait very long to start our day at The Happiest Place on Earth!
All of the Disneyland Resort theme park parking opens about one hour before the first
theme park opens for the day. The last trams to the
Pixar Pals Parking Structure and Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and the last buses to the Toy Story Parking Area leave about one hour after the last theme park has closed for the night. So that gives you plenty of time at the end of the day to enjoy some last-minute shopping on
Main Street, U.S.A.,
Buena Vista Street, or the
Downtown Disney District.
Tony’s Tip: The Toy Story Park Area is a pretty big lot. If you’re like me, it can sometimes be a little tricky to remember where you parked at the end of a fun and exciting day at the theme parks. So I recommend using the complimentary
car locator service that is included in the
Disneyland mobile app. It can remind you of the section and row you parked in so you can focus on the fun during the day rather than trying to keep in mind where you parked early in the morning. See the podcast video that I’ll link here for the true story about how my
planDisney pal Eean and I could have used that service on a previous trip to the Disney Parks.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Sandy!
