1st time to stay at the Polynesian in September. Might sound silly, but if a 2nd flr. rm. doesn't have a balcony, can you still open the window to get fresh air? Hate to miss out on a balcony when paying a deluxe rate.

    Hi Rebecca!

Yes, the windows open for a breath of fresh air! We once stayed in a second floor room in the longhouse Aotearoa overlooking the monorail track. This was by request as our son was absolutely enamored with the monorail.

If a balcony is important to you, put in a request on your reservation then ask again at Check In.

Our favorite location (so far) is Tokelau in a patio room. I hope your September visit to the Polynesian resort is magical. Our family is staying there in October!
