Ahoy, Graciela!
Embarkation day is such an exciting day because it means the waiting is finally over, and it's time to enjoy your magical vacation after months of planning! You will be surprised at how quickly this day will come as you count down to your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise next October. My family loves to watch the days fly by on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app countdown, especially when our favorite Disney Characters pop up!
Graciela, boarding at the
Port of San Diego, will begin once the ship is cleared for new Guests. This is typically around 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with all aboard around 4:00 p.m. You will complete your online check-in at 75 days before your departure and select a port arrival time. These times are set into 30-minute intervals beginning in the late morning up until the all aboard time. The check-in at the cruise terminal does not take long, so noon is a great time to arrive. I always recommend arriving the day before your cruise departs, just in case you encounter any unexpected delays. This will also make your day of embarkation a lot less stressful. Disney Cruise Line partners with the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego for pre-and post-cruise stays. You can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to add on a night at this hotel and
ground transfers to the port the following day.
I'm so glad to have the opportunity to help you with your magical plans, Graciela. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your voyage on the beautiful
Disney Wonder!
