Hiya, Mary, and
boo to you!
You're
almost there, Mary! Can you believe that you will be in the middle of the magic in less than two weeks? It's time to start packing and finalizing those plans, so let's get right to your question.
I'm so glad you are planning to make
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party a part of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The characters (and Guests) in costume, party-exclusive entertainment, and themed dining make this spooky (but not so scary) event a must-do for my family each year! Another beloved highlight of special events are the limited crowds and shorter waits for our favorite attractions. Although Guests of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party without theme park tickets are able to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 PM, they do so alongside Guests who are not party attendees for the next two hours. Because of this, party Guests will not typically see reduced standby wait times until the theme park officially closes for the day at 6 PM.
Of course, since
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is exclusively available during regular theme park hours via Lightning Lane Multi Pass or by joining a
virtual queue, party Guests will be unable to join the standby queue during regular theme park hours. There is currently no officially posted time indicating exactly when the queue will open for party Guests, but fellow panelists have reported being able to head down to the bayou between 6 and 6:15 PM. I suggest grabbing some beignets from
Golden Oak Outpost between 5:30 and 5:45 and enjoying them outside
Tiana's Bayou General so that you can be some of the first to know when the queue opens.
Pixie Dust from the Panel: Be sure to check out the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide highlighting the specially themed offerings available at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party before your visit so that you can plan your magical menu.
I hope this was helpful, Mary, and that you'll
come see us again at planDisney!
