How early can you line up for rides at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party if you only have a party ticket? We want to make sure we ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

    Hi Diane,

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a blast! We can't wait to attend next month as this is one of our favorite events of the year. One of the things I love most about separately-ticketed events at Magic Kingdom is the reduced wait times for rides.

Even though Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not officially start until 7 PM, you can enter the theme park and start queueing in lines at 4 PM. Keep in mind, day guests will still be in the theme park so lines will be longer than they will be later in the evening. The benefit of jumping in line early though is that from 4 PM until 7 PM you won't miss any of the party extras because they haven't started yet. We like to use this time before the party starts to grab a dining reservation and fill up so we have the energy to stay up as late as possible riding our favorite attractions.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a must-do! Currently, you can only ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure during regular theme park hours with either a Virtual Queue or Lightning Lane pass. The fun thing about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is that during the party, you can actually jump in a queue to ride this attraction. The theme park closes for the day at 6 PM and I have heard they are letting party guests jump in the line right after close time. Several friends have reported they were able to get in line around 6:15 but it is not guaranteed to open until the party starts at 7 PM.

While you are exploring the party, don't forget to check out some of the delicious snack options this year. If you want the full spooky New Orleans experience, head to Golden Oak Outpost for the Sweet and Spicy Beignets with some Chicory Coffee.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
