What time does security open on Harbor Boulevard? Thank you

Hello there, Jason, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. How exciting that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is so close! You're going to be able to experience both Season of the Force and Pixar Fest during your visit, so there's no shortage of things to do!

It sounds like you're looking forward to entering the Parks as early as possible. That's a great idea especially if you're trying to make Rope Drop. Those first few hours just after the Parks open are so peaceful and absolutely magical! You'll be able to do so much more before the crowds arrive later in the day.

In my experience, the security checkpoints will generally open around 7 a.m., about one hour before Park opening. That provides enough time for Guests who would like to take advantage of Early Entry and those who want to Rope Drop. A line can form early in the morning so you might want to arrive several minutes before they actually open the line. You can check the Daily Events Schedule to get a better idea of Park Hours and Entertainment offerings for your visit.

Do you consider yourself a foodie? There are plenty of special food items that have been made just for the current festivals. Take a look at the Foodie Guide for Pixar Fest and plan out a culinary adventure while you're there!

Jason, I hope this information was helpful for you and I wish you a truly magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please reach out again if you have more questions. We'd love to hear from you and you're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
